• Working Paper: "Homophily in Global Trade" The article used Post Covid Cross Sectional Data from CEPII's BACI Dataset to confirm the existence of homophily in global trade after Covid along two traits: Langage Similarity and Education (status) similarity. One surprising result is that the constructed religious similarity index negatively affects trade volume. The paper also discovers two empirical associations - one positive between religious similarity, social connectedness, and regional trade agreement participation; one negative between educational similarity and social connectedness. I am currently working to apply more rigorous empirical analysis and search for better theoretical understandings to improve my paper.
